10/23/09 Rocky decided to do some hunting this morning. He was able to shoot one of these cocks. I'm not quite sure what type of bird it is, oh yeah I think it's a pheasant. But I sure do think it's pretty. I don't know when he plans on cooking it but it's sitting in our freezer all de-feathered and gutted. He said pheasant tastes pretty good. I guess we'll see.

I hope you saved the big long feathers for me :) hehe No seriously, I was checking out the prices of them at the store and they're ridiculous!
that is a pretty bird. you guys would more than survive.
Oh I wish I would have thought to save the feathers. I'm not even sure what Rocky did with them. I'll have to remember that the next time.
