Baby Hands

Well I attempted to do a 3D keepsake of Oloiso's feet. And well that project did not turn out so well. So I thought I would do this clay imprint instead because I just love the tiny things about babies.
My son is not very cooperative when it comes to these projects. So I had to try a couple of times because when I would put his hand down to make the imprint, he would grab and the clay and scratch it all up. Oh well, I gotta love his enthusiasm.
Aren't those just the cutest little hands. I L.O.V.E. them!

Our Christmas Tree

The beauty of Christmas. Last year I purchased new ornaments for the tree on sale after Christmas was over (learned this from my sister Dacia). I've wanted to do browns, greens and golds for the longest time but just never got around to it. I was so excited when I bought my ornaments I was bummed I had to wait an entire year before I could put them up. So here they are . . . just a few of them. I like to have all different ornaments so of course I didn't take a picture of each one. I know, you're bummed. You'll just have to see new ones next year.
These two are beautiful ornaments (the purse & shoe) my friend, Summer gave me.
I just love them!
Here is our tree with lights and all. After so many different shots trying to get the settings on my camera to give me the look I wanted. Finally. So beautiful!

Shopping, food, friends

Selena's last day before having to fly back to Washington. So I had to take her shopping and stop for a bite to eat at Old Chicago. Love us some calazones and chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. That's what put a this smile on my face.

Baby Olo and Selena

Then we headed over for a visit with Summer and the kids.
My beautiful ornaments she gave me.

Olo listening to the bear read with Auntie Summer. Looks so studious in them glasses.
I can't really tell how he felt about the moving, talking bear but he sure loves his auntie.

Flower Boy

His sister, Selena put this huge flower on his head. Yeah, I guess that's what happens when you live in a house full of girls. I just can't resist this smug little face.

Many Faces

Everyone knows I always play this game with my kids where I tell them an emotion and they make a face for that emotion. Well here is our Selena doing just that.
I'll let you guess what each one is.
And here is Oloiso starting out so young with his faces.

Tradition After Thanksgiving

So it's been tradition for me to put up the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. Something I inherited from my mom. This year I had all three girls to help me so putting it up went a lot faster than normal. Here is the progression of our work.
We got all the branches on, now time for the ornaments. I have to divide them evenly between the girls or they have a fit that one has more than the other. Plus I have to divide the really nice ones evenly between them too. Seems like more work dividing than just putting them on. Sheesh! Oh well at least everyone is happy. I thought this was a funny picture because I had the camera on timer so I could be in the picture too. And well I guess I wasn't fast enough. I got faster after each one. Hehehe!
These pictures were Selena's idea while I was busy. Notice Sora had to change her clothes.
Well the girls are all dressed for the day and I have the ornaments divided. So now it's time to decorate. Have at it girls.
The end result. Not too bad. I try to tell them not to put all the same colors in one area. I think they did a fantastic job! Okay, so I went and moved a few around afterwards but so what, that's the OCD in me.
I love this picture because it shows each girls personality.
