Christmas Lobster Feast

My brother Alexis started a new tradition each year for Christmas. Him and Erika put on a lobster feast for family and friends. This was the first year I was able to make it. Now I know what I have been missing. Below he is cooking fried rice while Rocky observes.I think Lex said he had something like 74 lobsters total.More fried rice.Rocky sampling. Making sure it's up to par. Two thumbs up!Dad had no problem packing it down. I have no idea where he puts it all. I think he had a total of eight lobsters to himself. Sheesh!Mom, Mike and his children.Beautiful Desea. That would be cupcake all over her face. Finally, the beautiful generous couple that put on the whole shindig. With the help of family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful lobster dinner Lex & Erika!
Rocky and I after our tummies were stuffed!

My Skrizzy & Kai

When Rocky and I went down to San Diego the week of Christmas, I was able to spend the day with Lisa and meet Kai for the first time. He is so adorable and such a happy baby. Miss you already Skrizz!
Daddy (JJ) and baby.
Kai in his Santa outfit that Lisa had to torcher him in. He went to take pictures with Santa Claus and wore a reindeer outfit. Then he had to switch into a santa outfit. Totally cute but baby was HOT!

Alia Sewing

So this is Alia's first real sewing project. I thought she did a really great job and I didn't do too bad at teaching her either. She really enjoyed making this and was very proud of herself when it was completed. She didn't realize it would take as long as it did but it was her first time. The second one was a little easier. You go, Alia! The finished project was this apron she made for her mother for Christmas. She also made one for her grandma Pat which was a little different style but just as cute. I think I might have to see if she can make me one that is pink and brown.

Name a Painting

Thought I would copy my sister Dacia and give my sister Shannon more exposure. Go here to see my sister's painting and suggest a name if you'd like.

Beauty or Torcher?

Sora got one of those hair things for her birthday. It' supposed to twist the hair and put pretty string in it. It was rather amusing to watch Alia and Elisha figure out how to use the tools. Olivia and Sora were good sports...for awhile.Fun stuff!

Sora's Birthday

Sora's 9th birthday was on December 21st. As you can see she received tons of gifts from family. Here is here birthday cake.Lighting the candles. The birthday girl.

Christmas Goodies

Here are just a few of the chocolates and spiced pecans I made for some baskets we gave as gifts. These took a lot of work. I did't realize how much time it takes to get the details but I had fun making them.
