Many Faces

Everyone knows I always play this game with my kids where I tell them an emotion and they make a face for that emotion. Well here is our Selena doing just that.
I'll let you guess what each one is.
And here is Oloiso starting out so young with his faces.

Tradition After Thanksgiving

So it's been tradition for me to put up the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving. Something I inherited from my mom. This year I had all three girls to help me so putting it up went a lot faster than normal. Here is the progression of our work.
We got all the branches on, now time for the ornaments. I have to divide them evenly between the girls or they have a fit that one has more than the other. Plus I have to divide the really nice ones evenly between them too. Seems like more work dividing than just putting them on. Sheesh! Oh well at least everyone is happy. I thought this was a funny picture because I had the camera on timer so I could be in the picture too. And well I guess I wasn't fast enough. I got faster after each one. Hehehe!
These pictures were Selena's idea while I was busy. Notice Sora had to change her clothes.
Well the girls are all dressed for the day and I have the ornaments divided. So now it's time to decorate. Have at it girls.
The end result. Not too bad. I try to tell them not to put all the same colors in one area. I think they did a fantastic job! Okay, so I went and moved a few around afterwards but so what, that's the OCD in me.
I love this picture because it shows each girls personality.

Thanksgiving

Yes, daddy looks a little tired. But this is Oloiso's new face he makes. Like he's a little tough guy. The scrunched up nose . . . like "You wanna piece of me" look. Funny kid.
He also likes to get in his bouncy chair but jump in it instead of sit and bounce.
Olivia was a little paranoid that he would fall and hurt himself so she started to surround him with blankets and pillows. What a loving sister.

We decided to spend Thanksgiving over at Grama Pat's this year. Yes, saved me from making an entire Thanksgiving meal.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Why? Well because of the food of course. No, that's not really why. I just love the meaning of the holiday. Of giving thanks and being thankful. And yes, I won't like . . . I LOVE the food too.
Oloiso's first Thanksgiving and he's attempting to eat mashed potatoes with that face again.
Me and my handsome husband! I just love him to pieces and am thankful we met and are sharing our lives together.
Wow, mommy needs to loose some weight! Sheesh!

My Baby Can Read

So this is what we do at wee hours in the morning when baby can't sleep . . . he reads. Coincidence or planned that I got a picture of him reading the word sit while he sits?

He really does love watching them. I just wonder if he's retaining any of it. I guess time will tell.

This is his cute little mug eating. Always messy pictures but still a cute little baby!
Oh and daddy putting his hat with hair on baby.

What's that screaming?

So I'm in my office working and all of a sudden I hear baby screaming. So I run into my living room and find this . . .
I know what a horrible mom to take pictures before picking up her baby and consoling him. I just thought it was so cute that he was stuck behind a picture frame that he could probably just push over. He was so mad that I was taking pictures and not helping him. See his back arch?
Not only that but this kid will crawl through and over before he'll crawl around. Just had to have pictures to show him when he gets older.

Teething?

One of the hardest things as parents is to see your babies sick and not be able to do anything about it. This is the first time we were dealing with Oloiso being sick. He ran a really high fever 103.6 for a couple days. Because he was also drooling a lot and had a runny nose we figured he was teething. It still was not a fun couple of nights for either daddy or mommy. I'm sure it wasn't fun for baby either.
Here daddy is doing his best to ease the pain his baby is going through.

It was just so sad to see him like this. He just wanted to be held and was pretty lathargic for a few days. Our poor little boy.
