I can't express enough how much I love this little boy. He is what I have wanted all my life and it's still hard to believe he is mine. He has brought so much happiness to my life and feelings I never thought I would get to experience. I'm so thankful to my Heavenly Father every day for giving me this opportunity and blessing. Being a mother is one of the most absolutely amazing experiences ever. I love you Oloiso Makana'akua Rock Holden. You are my ROCK!

Your beautiful smile!

Living up to your name, our little king!

Dispise Water

Our son HATES the water! Can you tell by his face in this picture? Doesn't matter if it's a bath or the pool, he screams his little head off. Did ever since we gave him his first bath in the NICU at the hospital. We are a little worried because this family is a bunch of water rats. So we'll just have to wait and see if he decides he likes the water later on. I guess we'll have to keep trying. Although it's no fun giving him baths.

Can you tell that this man LOVES his son?

Well maybe you can now?

Or now?

Rocky adores his baby boy. It's so wonderful to see him and the love he has for his baby. It's so precious and it makes my heart melt. I love these two men in my life!

Happy 3rd Anniversary

I think this is the exact same shirt my husband wore the day we were married in Reno, NV three years ago. Funny!
We were married July 8, 2007 and have made it to three years already. Wow! Time goes so fast when you are having fun. We are still so much in love and now have a little baby boy together. Can life get any better than this? I love my husband with all my heart and cherish every moment we have together. He still makes my heart race and I never tire of looking at his beautiful face...even if he has a black eye. We have been together now for 12 years and it still seems like yesterday when we met. We have been through some tough times and some amazing times but that is how we grow strong together.
I love you, Rocketchun! You are my world! Here is to many more years to come.

The Shiner

See this is what happens when you mess with my right hook. Better recognize! Hehehe!

In all seriousness, my poor baby took a ball to the eye. In all the years I've watched this man play softball, I've never seen him get hurt. This is the first time. While playing in the annual All Islander Softball Tournament, playing catcher, he got a bad hop from the ball and it hit him right in the eye. But he toughed it out and continued to play, taking second place in the tournament.

He just looks so sad in the picture, doesn't he?

Even with a cut and a black eye, his eyes still sparkle though.

The close up.

He didn't get stitches, he just put some super glue in the cut and let it heal. All man!

All Islander Softball Tournament

The All Islander Softball Tournament was hosted in Reno, Nevada this year. Pictured below is Rocky's team. We played at a new softball complex this year and the fields were made of that new astro turf stuff. Very different to play on.
Jesse playing third base for his team.
Rocky got a bad hop while playing catcher, the ball split his brow open and gave him a nice shiner. In all the years I've watched him play, I've never seen him get hurt. But he toughed it out and continued to play through out the tournament. What a trooper!
Captured some moments with Kodi and his baby brother.
All of us getting ready to go to the banquet. (Left to Right: Me, Oloiso, Meka, Mallory, Rocky, Kodi & Nate). My honey & I.
Our sweet little boy slept through all the dancing, singing, noise, etc.
The ladies receiving their second place award. Woohoo! I won't mention that there were only two teams playing. Ya, that's our secret to winning trophies. Ha!
Rocky & the his team receiving their second place trophy. But at least with them they had 10 teams. So they really did earn theirs.

Olo's Trip To Reno

Baby boy has mother's intense stare. Everyone is going to think he's mad all the time and tell him to smile. I never liked that growing up. Oh well, maybe he'll be more like his daddy when he gets older. Dad's got a happy face and looks like he's going to crack a smile all the time. But for the time being he looks like mom.
This was he look the entire drive to Reno, NV. Other than when he was sleeping or unhappy because he was in his car seat. He doesn't like being in restraints. Still love him though!

Oloiso - 3 Months

How can I resist this smile?
*Picture taken Monday, June 28, 2010*
This is always the hard part . . . trying to decide what pictures to post. My baby boy is just so darn cute I want to post every single picture I have of him. Okay, maybe not every single picture because I have WAY to many. Just ask my husband. He thinks I'm crazy because I either have the video camera in my hand or the digital camera.
What? You should have expected that from me. I mean, it's no surprise, right? I just don't want to miss a single moment of this little guys life and I want to capture it all. Could you imagine if I would have had the seven children I wanted? Wow, I'd be pretty busy snapping photos and taking video. Wouldn't have much time for anything else. In the mean time, you're just going to have to put up with me and my many pictures.
Here's my little boy at 3 months.

You understand now, don't you? I mean, why I can't decide what pictures to post. Just so adorable! I just love my baby!
This is one of daddy's favorite. His Elvis pose.
